Answered Questions

For the Michigan School Aid Fund – 2020-21 MI School Data Portal Operations Grant application, “Indirect/fiscal administration” is listed as a line item on the budget detail. Does this mean indirect cost will be allowable for this grant? If so, is there a maximum allowable rate or can the individual ISD indirect cost rate be applied?

Yes, Indirect/Fiscal administration costs are allowable. The cap is 7% of the overall value of the grant. in this case 7% of $1,000,000 equals $70,000. The ISDs can apply their individual rates but the total can not exceed $70,000.
